Littleton was released by the Texans on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Littleton will now be subject to waivers, but if he goes unclaimed by the rest of the league, Houston is expected to add him to their practice squad. The linebacker's spot on the active roster will be filled by Myjai Sanders, who the team claimed off of waivers from Arizona on Wednesday.
