Prescott completed 22 of 39 pass attempts for 211 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions against Washington on Sunday. He added seven rushes for 15 yards and committed a fumble that he recovered.

It was an ugly game for Prescott, who began the game reasonably well but struggled in the second half. The sixth-year quarterback let Washington back into the game with a fourth-quarter pick-six to linebacker Cole Holcomb, who Prescott evidently just did not see before making the throw. The Washington defense has played better in recent weeks than it did at the beginning of the season, so perhaps Prescott just got the worst of Washington's unexpected ascent; however, it would be difficult to rationalize any additional poor play from this point forward with the Giants up next in Week 15.
