Prescott completed 32 of 36 pass attempts for 273 yards in Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. He also gained 20 yards and found the end zone on four carries.
The rookie had been much maligned over the last three weeks for failing to top 200 passing yards a single time, but he responded by completing an absurd 89 percent of his passes and did not turn the ball over in this important win. Prescott did not throw for a touchdown for the first time since Week 2 but he was able to effectively manage the offense to the tune of 464 yards against a solid defensive opponent. With the critics likely to ease off for a week, Prescott will lead the Cowboys into next week's matchup with the Lions.
