Prescott (shoulder) is expected to resume practicing Monday, albeit on a limited basis, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Reports last week said the QB would get an MRI on Monday, but he ended up having it a couple days earlier and reportedly got confirmation that his shoulder is progressing well. While he doesn't figure to do a ton of throwing at Monday's practice, Prescott may be able to ramp up his workload in time for a brief appearance in one of the Cowboys' final two preseason games. If not, Week 1 would be his first game appearance since the ugly ankle injury last October.
