Demercado recorded two carries for seven yards in Sunday night's 28-20 loss to the Giants.
Demercado operated as the team's No. 2 option at running back in Week 1 behind starter Javonte Williams, but he was limited to just five snaps on offense in the contest. Demercado signed with Dallas on Aug. 31, and his role could grow as he continues to get more comfortable in the Cowboys' offense moving forward.
