Thompson (hamstring) has not had his 21-day practice window opened yet, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Thompson is still working his way back from a hamstring injury that forced the team to place him on injured reserve in late September, and he is not ready to return to practice quite yet. In his absence, P.J. Locke (concussion), Malik Hooker and Markquese Bell are poised to continue to operate as the Cowboys' primary safeties for the time being.
