The Cowboys signed Barron from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Barron was elevated to the active roster for the Cowboys' Week 2 win over the Commanders. The linebacker played one defensive snap and 20 special teams snaps in the contest. Barron will likely continue in his role as a special-teamer while on the 53-man roster. Free safety P.J. Locke (foot) was moved to IR in a corresponding move.
