Cowboys' Kadeem Edwards: Receives promotion

Edwards was promoted to the Cowboys' active roster Friday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.

Edwards received this promotion in the wake of OT Tyron Smith being placed on injured reserve. He'll work in as a depth lineman for the time being.
