The Cowboys elevated McKeon to the active roster Saturday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
McKeon was signed to the Cowboys' practice squad Aug. 31 after being cut by the team two days earlier ahead of the 53-man roster deadline. He could be active for Sunday's contest against the Patriots if tight end Peyton Hendershot (ankle) is ruled out.
