Smith (foot) is a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Smith missed Dallas' season finale due to a ruptured plantar fascia, but his practicing Wednesday puts him in position to potentially suit up for the wild-card round. He'll still probably need to practice in full Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.
