Kazee was released by the Browns on Monday.
The 32-year-old appeared in four games and logged 48 total snaps (37 on special teams, 11 on defense) prior to his release, failing to record a defensive stat. Donovan McMillon and Rayshawn Jenkins (groin) are now expected to operate as Cleveland's top reserve safeties.
