Thompson (hamstring) was restored to the Cowboys' practice squad Monday.
Thompson ended up on the practice squad injured list after hurting his hamstring in the Cowboys' Week 1 loss to the Buccaneers. The 2016 third-round selection now will try to earn back a spot on the active roster.
