The Colts signed Long (undisclosed) to the practice squad Monday.
Long had a tryout with the Colts in mid-September, and he will now join Indianapolis as a member of the team's practice squad. He played in 13 regular-season games between the Lions (five) and Dolphins (eight) in 2024 and logged 45 tackles (29 solo) and one fumble recovery over that span.
