Thompkins (undisclosed) was waived off Green Bay's injured reserve with an injury settlement Wednesday, independent NFL journalist Aaron Wilson reports.
Thompkins shifted to injured reserve last week after being waived/injured by the Packers. He's now free to sign elsewhere after reaching the injury settlement.
