The Jets waived/injured Milliner (undisclosed) on Saturday, Eric Allen of the team's official site reports.
After Milliner's fifth-year option was declined in the offseason, his inability to contribute this preseason may have made the decision an easy one for the Jets. If he clears waivers, the 2013 first-round pick could revert to injured reserve, but the two parties may instead seek an injury settlement.
