Alexander (undisclosed) joined Detroit's practice squad Saturday.
Alexander was waived off injured reserve in August and now rejoins the team for the final weeks of the regular season. The 22-year-old seems headed for an offseason with the Lions after being signed as an undrafted free agent back in May.
