McKnight (hamstring) was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement by the Bucs on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The defensive tackle suffered the hamstring injury during an August preseason game against the Chiefs and was placed on injured reserve by Tampa Bay. Now that he has his settlement, McKnight is free to play in 2026 if he can find an opportunity with another team.
