Kizer is expected to sign with the Bears' practice squad, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
This move comes on Chicago's bye week, as it is looking for more quarterback depth in the organization. Both Nick Foles (hip) and Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) are currently dealing with nagging injuries. The Notre Dame product will now join fellow quarterback Tyler Bray on the practice squad. He has not seen any regular-season action since he was with the Packers in 2018.
