The Jaguars released Smith on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
After signing with the Jaguars due to injuries to two of Jacksonville's top receivers, Smith was then released. The 29-year-old most recently spent time with the Cowboys, where he played in four games and recorded five catches for 113 yards and a touchdown.
