Carter (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Jets, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Carter will miss a fourth straight game due to a concussion. His next chance to suit up will come in Week 6 against the Vikings, but due to his prolonged absence, the Dolphins will presumably be cautious with the reserve tight end even when he's cleared for practice.
