Brissett completed 32 of 49 passes for 215 yards without a touchdown or interception in Sunday's 31-29 overtime loss to the Raiders. He also carried the ball seven times for 37 yards and a touchdown.
While he did lead the Dolphins to a game-tying touchdown at the end of regulation, scrambling for a one-yard TD and then hitting Will Fuller for a two-point conversion, Brissett otherwise had little success moving the ball in his first start of the season, despite a huge volume of pass attempts. With Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) out for at least two more games, Brissett will be under center again Week 4 at home against the Colts, but he may need to do more than just avoid turnovers to get Miami into the win column.
