Brissett replaced the injured Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) in the first quarter of Sunday's 35-0 loss to the Bills and completed 24 of 40 passes for 169 yards and an interception. He also had eight yards on four rushing attempts.
Brissett didn't lead his team to any points after Tagovailoa was carted off on Miami's second drive. Tua's status moving forward will be determined by the result of further testing on his rib injury. Brissett will start on the road against the Raiders in Week 3 if Tagovailoa can't go, though the veteran backup's poor performance in this one suggests he won't be a go-to fantasy option if he plays.
