Phillips (knee) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.

Phillips was already ruled out for the season due to a partial right ACL tear suffered in Monday's loss to the Titans, so this move was fully expected. The transaction created a roster spot that the Dolphins used to sign fellow linebacker Tyus Bowser. Phillips will now focus on his recovery with an eye toward a return in 2025, the final year of his rookie contract.
