Poyer (undisclosed) was held out of Monday's camp session, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Poyer, who's entering his 12th season in the NFL, was brought in by Miami earlier in the offseason to play alongside Jevon Holland in the Dolphins' secondary. Both the nature and severity of Poyer's injury are currently unknown, but he's expected to serve as Miami's top strong safety once he returns to the field.
