Washington was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a quadricep injury, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.

Washington remained healthy throughout the preseason, but he's nursing what seems to be a minor injury heading into Sunday's season opener versus the Jaguars. The rookie sixth-round pick is facing immediate opportunities to contribute if he can get healthy, with both Odell Beckham (undisclosed) and River Cracraft (upper body) ruled out for at least the first four games of the season. Braxton Berrios has the experience to immediately work as the No. 3 receiver behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, but health permitting, Washington should have a chance to contribute as a depth option early in his career.
