Ewers will be the backup quarterback behind Tua Tagovailoa during Sunday's game against the Browns, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Zach Wilson had been the primary backup for the first six weeks of 2025, with Ewers serving as the emergency No. 3 QB. The only snaps Tagovailoa has missed this season came in Week 1 when the Colts were blowing out the Dolphins.
