Tannehill completed 15 of 25 passes for 204 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's 28-25 victory over the Bills. He also gained 21 yards on six rushes.
Tannehill stayed mistake-free for the second straight week while once again allowing Jay Ajayi to carry the majority of the offensive load on his capable shoulders. The game script for the last two games has essentially been the ideal one for Tannehill, whose propensity for errors often rises in proportion to the amount of times he has to put the ball up. The fifth-year pro has now impressively completed 68.4 percent (39-for-57) of his passes over the last two games and has hit passes of 53 and 66 yards in those contests, with the latter a spectacular scoring connecting with Kenny Stills on Sunday. He'll look to continue this solid play against the Jets in Week 9 following the Dolphins' bye in Week 8.
