Coach Adam Gase stated Monday that Tannehill will remain the starting quarterback for the remainder of the season, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.
This comes after fans in Miami were calling for his release both during and after the game versus Tennessee on Sunday. Tannehill has been below average once again this season and may have even regressed, but the bottom line is that the Dolphins don't have a young future NFL starter on their roster. Tannehill only has to worry about Matt Moore, and it is unlikely that he would be a significant upgrade. It's Tannehill or bust in south Florida this year.
