Tagovailoa completed 30 of his 41 pass attempts for 244 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 20-9 win over the Giants.
Tagovailoa reached 40 pass attempts for the third time this season and for the first time since Week 7. He put up a disappointing yardage total by averaging only 6.0 yards per attempt despite being accurate with his passes. That was a product of largely working in short areas of the field, as he had only one completion of more than 20 yards. However, Tagovailoa salvaged his performance with a pair of touchdowns, one from five yards away and the other from two. Tagovailoa has proven to have a safe floor of production in recent weeks, though he has topped 300 passing yards only once on the campaign.
