Coach Brian Flores said Tagovailoa (ribs) is likely to start Sunday at Jacksonville if he can avoid any setbacks during Friday's practice, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.
This update echoes what Flores said earlier this week when Tagovailoa was designated to return from injured reserve, so it appears the young quarterback avoided any issues at practice over the past couple days. It appears the 23-year-old will end up spending only the three-week minimum on injured reserve after he sustained fractured ribs Week 2 against the Bills.
