Coach Mike McDaniel said Monday that Hill (thumb) and Jaylen Waddle (undisclosed) will both practice and "had no setbacks," Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Hill and Waddle have both had their practice reps capped in recent weeks, but it doesn't seem like the Dolphins have had any real doubts about having the star WR duo available for Week 1. A right thumb injury has lingered for Hill since mid-August, so Miami may have simply been taking a cautious approach to his recovery, with catching ability in mind. At the latest, Wednesday's first official practice report of the season will reveal whether Hill and Waddle still carry injury designations as Sunday's opener against the Jaguars approaches.
