The Browns waived Jones (knee) on Tuesday with a failed physical designation.
Jones still does not appear to have recovered from the season-ending knee injury he suffered last November. The second-year defensive back logged 49 snaps on defense and 57 snaps on special teams while suiting up for eight regular-season games in 2025.
