DeJean (hamstring) began participating in individual drills during Tuesday's practice session, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
DeJean told reporters after practice Tuesday that he felt good after his drills, and he is aiming to play in the Eagles' preseason finale against the Vikings on Aug. 24, per Kubena. DeJean started training camp on the NFI list due to a hamstring strain he sustained during offseason practice, and if he were able to suit up against Minnesota, it would likely only be for one or two defensive series. The rookie second-round pick is expected to be utilized across multiple positions on the Eagles' defense, which ranked 26th in the league last season in yards allowed per game (356.1).
