The Eagles elevated Mitchell from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
It's the second consecutive week in which Mitchell has been elevated to the Eagles' 53-man roster. He was the RB3 against the Cowboys in Week 7, and he'll reprise that depth role behind Saquon Barkley and Dameon Pierce for Sunday's game against the Commanders. Mitchell turned three carries into 11 yards and added three catches on four targets for 23 yards during Philadelphia's 38-21 loss to Dallas.
