Minshew will start Sunday's game against the Jets, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
With Jalen Hurts (ankle) inactive for the first time this season, Minshew will see his first extended action as a member of the Eagles, as his lone prior appearance with Philadelphia came during garbage time of a Week 8 win over the Lions. While Minshew isn't nearly as threatening as Hurts as a runner, he could amount to an upgrade for the Philadelphia passing game. In 23 games (20 starts) with Jacksonville over the past two seasons, Minshew averaged 240.4 passing yards per contest while posting a 37:11 TD:INT.
