Hurts (ankle) will participate in Wednesday's walk-through practice, with head coach Nick Sirianni noting that he expects the quarterback to play Sunday against the Jets, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.

Hurts came out of last weekend's 13-7 loss to the Giants with an ankle injury, and while he seemingly expects to play through it, his participation in the walk-through session doesn't come with any guarantees. Continued practice participation Thursday would be a stronger sign in favor of Hurts suiting up, though Sirianni said he'll have contingency plans in case his starter can't play or has limited mobility, per Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal. Gardner Minshew is the Eagles' lone backup quarterback after the team traded Joe Flacco to the Jets in October.
