The Eagles are signing Milton off the Cowboys' practice squad, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
With Jalen Hurts recovering from a blood clot on his calf, the Eagles are set to start Tanner McKee this Sunday against the Panthers. Should Hurts miss additional time, Milton could eventually become an option to make starts, though he'll likely be focused on learning the offense and otherwise acclimating for the next few weeks.
