Sinnett will serve as Gardner Minshew's backup Sunday against the Jets, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
Sinnett went undrafted out of San Diego and previously spent time with the Dolphins this season. He served as Jacoby Brissett's backup while Tua Tagovailoa was out with a rib injury, but he never saw the field. With Jalen Hurts (ankle) out Sunday, Sinnett will serve a similar role, likely only to see snaps if Minshew gets injured.
