Bradford has informed the Eagles that he wants to be traded and will not participate in their offseason program any longer, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Bradford's request for a trade comes after the Eagles traded into the draft's No. 2 slot, where they're widely expected to select another quarterback. That situation would cast a shadow over Bradford's starting position, something he evidently wouldn't appreciate after signing a two-year, $36 million extension with the team earlier this offseason. As a result, Bradford hopes to be dealt elsewhere in search of a less contentious starting gig, and will remain away from the Eagles while awaiting a trade.
