Ertz (ribs) is considered day-to-day and could be a game-time decision Sunday against the Steelers, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Head couch Doug Pederson referred to Ertz as "week-to-week" ahead of Monday's win over the Bears, and then upgraded the tight end to "day-to-day" Tuesday. Another absence still wouldn't be surprising, as Ertz's injury could put him at risk for major complications if he takes the field before it heals. He will thus need to gain medical clearance from the team doctors, regardless of whether the pain largely subsides or not. Brent Celek started Monday's game, but it was Trey Burton who largely filled Ertz's shoes, catching five passes for 49 yards and a touchdown on seven targets.
