Biggers was released by the Patriots on Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com reports.
Biggers wasn't expected to be more than a reserve depth player in New England, as Malcolm Butler and Logan Ryan have solidified themselves as the starting cornerbacks. With 34 career starts to his name, the veteran could draw interest from other teams that are looking to shore up their secondary.
