The Chiefs signed McGuire to their practice squad Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
McGuire will provide depth to the Chiefs' running back group after Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle) was placed on injured reserve. The 27-year-old has spent time on Kansas City's practice squad the last two seasons, so he should have some familiarity with the system.
