Watts (undisclosed) worked out for the Patriots on Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Watts was waived from IR by the Jets with an injury settlement in mid-August and appears to have since recovered from the issue that was affecting him. The defensive end is now looking for a new opportunity after spending the first two years of his career with the Jets, tallying 23 tackles over 18 regular-season games.
