Terrell (groin) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official website reports.
Terrell has been on injured reserve since Sept. 22 while recovering from a groin injury that he suffered in Week 2 versus the Panthers. The Falcons have now opened the cornerback's 21-day practice window, and if he is not activated before the end of that period, he will remain on IR for the rest of the season.
