Copeland recently underwent postseason knee surgery according to his Instagram, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.
Copeland played in 16 games this season despite the issue with his knee, missing only Week 1 against the Eagles. The six-year veteran finished the year with 39 tackles (23 solo) and two passes defensed while serving a rotational role in the Falcons' linebacker unit. He'll now focus on returning healthy next season.
