Head coach Arthur Smith said Monday that Heinicke's hamstring injury is considered "low grade," Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.

Additionally, Smith said the Falcons will use the Week 11 bye to determine who will start under center when the team returns to action Nov. 26 versus the Saints. With the bye week to recuperate, Heinicke's hamstring injury isn't expected to be a major concern by the time the Falcons begin Week 12 prep. Desmond Ridder completed four of six passes for 39 yards and rushed three times for 11 yards and a touchdown in relief of Heinicke in this past Sunday's loss to Arizona.
