Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins put on a show in Los Angeles' victory over the Las Vegas Raiders last week. Dobbins finished with 10 carries for 135 rushing yards and a touchdown while hauling in all three of his targets in last Sunday's 22-10 win. Dobbins is expected to be high in the Week 2 Fantasy football RB rankings again this week as Los Angeles faces the Carolina Panthers, a defense that gave up 47 points to the New Orleans Saints last week. Which other running backs should you include in your Week 2 Fantasy football strategy? A reliable set of Week 2 Fantasy football rankings can help ensure you nail difficult start or sit decisions. Before you lock in your Fantasy football lineups, be sure to check out the Week 2 Fantasy football rankings from the advanced computer model at SportsLine.

When it comes to ranking players, SportsLine's model beat human experts in Fantasy football for the past several seasons, especially when there were big differences in ranking. Over the course of a season, that could literally be the difference between winning your league or going home emptyhanded.

The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, including being ahead of the curve on players like A.J. Brown, Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, Christian McCaffrey, Alvin Kamara, and Jahmyr Gibbs. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

Now, the model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, has revealed its Fantasy football rankings for Week 2 of the 2024 NFL season. Head to SportsLine now to see them.

Top Week 2 Fantasy football picks

One surprise in Week 2: The model is fading Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., even though the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft was a second-round pick on average. In fact, the model says Harrison doesn't even finish in the top 30 at his position and he's a player who you might want to be cautious with in Week 2.

After being touted as the clear No. 1 option in the Arizona passing attack all offseason, Harrison was only targeted three times on Sunday and caught one pass for four yards. Trey McBride (nine targets) and Greg Dortch (eight targets) were Kyler Murray's favorite options and even running back James Conner outpaced Harrison in targets 4-3. He'll match up against the Rams this week and it might be worth taking a wait-and-see approach going forward.

A curveball: The model is high on Browns running back Jerome Ford. Ford rushed the ball 12 times for 44 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-17 loss to the Cowboys. He was also used often in the passing game, finishing with six receptions on seven targets for 25 yards.

Ford garnered 18 touches in a game the Browns were playing from behind and he'll continue to serve as Cleveland's primary running back with Nick Chubb (knee) sidelined. The door is open for Ford to have a big game with the Browns traveling to play the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2. The Jags gave up 103.1 rushing yards per game last season, a big reason why the model is projecting Ford to finish as a top-15 RB this week. For more start/sit Fantasy football advice, be sure to check out the rest of the Week 2 Fantasy football rankings.
