Thomas (hamstring) doesn't appear to be practicing Wednesday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
Prior to Wednesday's practice, Washington announced that reserve cornerback Darryl Roberts (quadriceps) had been designated to return from injured reserve. However, there was no such announcement for Thomas, who has been on IR since Oct. 6 but was spotted last week doing some work on a side field. He still hasn't been cleared for practice, and with fellow tight end Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) now injured, Washington may be down to John Bates, Sammis Reyes and a practice-squad promotion as its options at tight end for Sunday's game in Carolina.
