Heinicke suffered a knee injury during Sunday's contest against the Cowboys.

Heinicke spent much of Week 14 running for his life versus a fearsome Dallas pass rush, taking four sacks and seven quarterback hits overall. If he's unable to return, he'll have put together a dreadful passing line -- 11-for-25 for 122 yards, one touchdown and one interception -- to go with three carries for eight yards. Heinicke actually left this game in both the first and second half for spells, so he appears poised to have practice limitations in the coming days. Kyle Allen replaced Heinicke under center.
