Heinicke completed 24 of 39 passes for 270 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions in Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Broncos. He also gained 10 yards on his only carry.
The first pick came on what was effectively a Hail Mary at the end of the first half, but the second was a back-breaker as it came in the end zone with 49 seconds left on the clock and Washington driving for the tying score. Heinicke has a 3:6 TD:INT over the last four games, and Ryan Fitzpatrick (hip) could be ready to reclaim the starting job coming out of the team's Week 9 bye.
